Paint Suppliers

  • Browse the local directory for Paint Supplies

Paint suppliers are responsible for providing all of the paint and materials that you will need to complete a painting project in your home.  They can also help to advise you on how best to complete your painting project.

Services

Following is a list of services that may be provided by a paint supplier:

  • colour matching
  • mixing the correct tint and amount of paint for the project
  • advice on colour schemes
  • ordering specialty paint as required
  • necessary materials to complete the job – i.e. paintbrushes, rollers, cleaning solvents, tape, and so forth
  • advice on different painting techniques

Paint Supply Places

There are several different places where you can pick up the paint that you need for your home improvement project.  Three of the most common are briefly outlined below:

  • Generalist Suppliers – these suppliers stock all different kinds and brands of paint.  Along with the well-known brands and finishes, they may also supply certain specialist types of paint such as those with unique or special finishes.  As well as the paint itself, they will also supply everything that you need to complete the project such as brushes, rollers, dropcloths, colour swatches, sample tins and so forth.
  • Hardware Stores – most hardware stores have a paint section in which the common types and brands of paint are stocked.  However, they usually have a limited supply of specialist paints, and you may need to look elsewhere if you are looking for a different type of paint effect.  They will also stock the materials you need to complete the project.
  • Specialist Paint Suppliers – these suppliers often specialize in a particular brand or type of paint.  One example of a specialist paint supplier is a store that sells only special effects paint or a certain brand.  They will be able to provide materials such as brushes and rollers, but you may need to visit another store to get all of the materials you need to complete the job.
