About Warrawong Nursery
Warrawong Nursery is a small, home-based business that has been in operation for approximately twelve years. We supply a range of native and exotic trees and shrubs in planter bags ready to grow in your garden for an instant effect .
We also have a range of fruit trees in 25 litre bags at $35.00 each and 45 litre bags at $75.00 each.
Our plants are organically grown and specially benefit from the inclusion of worm castings in their growing media which are sourced from our own worm farm.
Delivery is available throughout the Sunshine Coast and surrounding area and a planting in service is also available at $25.00 per half hour, which provides two men to supply the labour.
Viewing hours are flexible, including weekends and after hours. Please, however, phone before hand to arrange a suitable time.

Worm Castings
Give your plants a head start and add some of nature’s wonder food to their planting medium. Vermicast (worm castings) are proven to:- reduce transplant shock
- improve root development
- increase the water holding capacity of the soil
- aid germination
- improve the health of your soil by adding a myriad of organisms
- add enzymes which promote plant growth
- contain minerals in a form that is immediately available to the plants.
- have available nutrient levels which have increased up to seven fold after they have passed through the worm’s digestive system.
Our plants are all produced organically using organic fertilisers and worm castings, produced from our own worm farm, which are incorporated in the mix. When planting in the ground you are advised to use plenty of mulch to keep the soil moist and to encourage the worms and their eggs to multiply in your soil. They are compost worms and therefore need organic matter and moisture to survive and do the job of conditioning your soil and improving its fertility. If you can mix in some compost as well when planting, your plants and the worms would love it.
