She established LifeWorks in 2006 to bring her facilitation skills & artistic talents to the exciting arena of home renovation & professional organisation. She offers a personalised service to help clients realise their lifestyle dreams for their homes. Marilyn’s experience as manager, teacher & creative producer means that she will work closely with you, not impose a system on you. She believes that what you own, possess, or do should enhance your life, not detract from it. Nothing is thrown away without your permission. Then she was able to source options for us: it was so much easier for me to look at some images and samples in order to choose between them and then to visualise how it would all look like in life-size 3D! And to top it off, Marilyn also helped us to coordinate all the trade and retail people that were coming and going - again, helping us make our way through lots of details while making sure that our dreams for the house remained paramount. She met Mum and quickly got a sense of what she liked, then set up the new place in a really comfortable way. My brother and I were busy looking after her emotionally - to have Marilyn making the physical space so nice was terrific. A couple of years later Mum needed to go into a residential care situation.
