Underlays
Underlays are an important consideration for the comfort and durability of your carpet. It is not a mere luxury. Underlay has proven to drastically lengthen the life of the carpet while enhancing the luxury feel of the installation. It also improves the thermal and acoustic insulation.
There are three main types of underlay: felt, foam and rubber and at G & A Carpet Choice we provide the best quality underlay available. You can select from Bridgestone Rubber or Dunlop Foam. Both of these manufacturers have the best reputation for quality underlays.

Vinyl floors are easy to clean and resist stains better than most other floors. Simply sweep and damp mop from time to time to keep the floor looking new. Vinyl flooring caters for all budgets. From the 100's of designs available, you are sure to find a design within any budget. Vinyl flooring is available in optional widths of 2, 3 & 4 metres wide.
Vinyl retains its appearance and resists damage
Vinyl is excellent for use in high traffic areas
Vinyl is most comfortable underfoot, with inbuilt cushioning
Floating Timber Floors
Floating timber floors are available in two finishes - veneer or laminate. Veneer floors feature a thick layer of timber adhered to a high density backing board and then finished with layer of UV acrylic, creating that just polished look.
Laminate flooring is constructed using a core of high or medium density fibre board (HDF or MDF), with a top layer of decorative melamine laminate. The hard melamine surface is further protected using a special coating protecting it from stiletto heels, scratching, fading, cigarette burns and most household chemicals.
Veneers and laminates can be installed over most sub floors
Laminates are maintenance free with no sanding or polishing required
