Correct maintenance of your floor is critical to its clean and lasting appearance.
Incorrect cleaning agents and application may result in long term damage to your floor.
Please follow these maintenance tips to keep your floor looking its best:
Your floor has been coated with polymer based polish, do not apply any more polish.
From application it requires 24 hours to cure...so no skating or partying across it.
Do not drag furniture whether the polish is 3 min or 3 months old...place it gently.
The best way to retain the shine is to machine buff the surface, this will harden the polish, making it easier to clean and maintain.
Place, stick, nail felt or carpet to the base of all your moveable furniture. This will help reduce the wear and tear on your floor surface.
Avoid wearing shoes inside...socks are best
Sweep/vacuum/dust/mop are fine - just be gentle
To clean your floor all you need to do is cleanse it. Avoid using detergents or harsh products. Eg. bleaches, dish washing liquids etc. Do use a cleansing agent such as a disinfectant, or better still use a pH neutral floor cleanser which is available from any cleaning product supplier.
Use hot water as a preference...if really hot avoid putting mop bucket directly on the polished floor.
The faster you can get your floor to dry the better.
