Diego has been working with timber for a long time. Starting as a boy helping his boatbuilder father, then undertaking a cabinetmaking apprentiship. When floating timber floors became popular, Diego was in the first intake at Tafe, and since qualifying in 1999, has been busy applying his skills to many beautiful floors.
Experience in cabinetmaking has given him the scope to deal with unexpected challenges on certain jobs, coming up with the right decisions to ensure a great finish.
Having been in small business for 15 years has also given him the experience in customer service. "Many times I've been asked by customers why certain things can't be done" Unfortunately many in the trade only want the easy way for themselves and are not willing to put the customer first.
