With over 30 years experience in the building industry, and backed by a professional, qualified team of tradespeople, apprentices, and sub-contractors, Craftsman Homes NW Tasmania is a great choice for your next building project, small or large.
Craftsman Homes North West Tasmania have been in the building industry for 30 years and in that time have seen many changes across the industry. But the most important requirement still remains the same and that being the relationship between the builder and client, from carrying a out a minor repair, extension or a dream home.

John Beswick's expertise commenced in the joinery, fitting out area as an apprentice and he was recognised with outstanding achievement on the completion of his course by the Master Builders Association of Tasmania. Therefore the attention to detail in the house construction area has carried through as a priority.
We moved our home office in 2000 to our current location ‘near the clock’ at 56 Alexandra Road Ulverstone.
Every house is important to us from a 15 square first home to a 40 square retirement dream home, both give us a sense of achievement together with that warm fuzzy feeling that is enjoyed by all new home owners.
We are now in our ninth year of operating as part of the Craftsman Homes Australia Group, which provides the support of a national group and offers over 250 unique flexible designs. These designs are flexible to suit our clients individual requirements and are further designed by John at our local office. We offer one on one attention to our clients, and a fixed price contract together with a detailed list of inclusions chosen by our clients.

Our Range of Services
At Craftsman Homes North West Tasmania we offer personal service handling the construction of your new home, from design to the exciting day when you move in. Building a new home is one of the most important decisions people make in a lifetime and it is critical that the experience is a good one. Our client relationships are very important to us - we have made life long friendships with many of our customers.
We are currently experiencing a surge of previous clients returning to build their second new home with us.

Before you purchase the site for your new home, talk to us for some practical advice - we are only too pleased to assist.
- Plans... plans... and more plans...
Choose from over 250 designs to suit your land and budget. From smaller cottage designs for first home owners or investors to the larger estate family designs for the larger block or acreage, we have a plan to suit your needs. All our plans are flexible - no two houses are the same. This makes your new home specifically individual.
- Design Stage...
We take the hassle out of building your new home or planning your extension. Let us personally work together with you to design your new home in 3d design and then experience walking through your new design on the computer screen - soon to become a reality on your land.
Our experience as builders gives us the practical knowledge of designing your new home and enables us to keep control of your design not going over budget.
- Council & Engineering...
Once the design and pricing stages are complete we handle all processes with the relative Council, Engineers & Building surveyors to ensure a smooth progress to the approval stage.
- Inclusions...
You are free to choose the components of your new home - brick, clad or render, tile or colorbond roof, heating, type of kitchen and built-ins, tiles, carpets, window furnishings, plumbing fixtures, whitegoods etc. ... all in the colour of your choice.
- Fixed Price Contract...
We use a fixed price contract where all inclusions of your choice are listed for your peace of mind, and this also gives your lending institution the confidence to proceed with finance if required.
- Sub Trades...
All subcontractors on our sites are skilled tradesmen, from whom we have had many years of valued service. This provides good continuity for the building process to progress smoothly.
