PRODUCTS
Posts: The subtle difference with our posts is all about quality. We use Australian made tube from Smorgon Steel. This SUPAGAL tube offers the thickest Gal coating inside and out that is available on the market.
Our standard top plates, including T and Corner plates are one all one piece, offering strength and uniform finish. All of our posts are fully welded, completely sealing the posts, and all welds are painted with zinc rich primer for corrosion protection.
The materials used ensures our posts all meet Australian Standards. Quality is the difference!
Beams: Brisbane Posts and Beams offer super quality beams and channels as part of our standard service. When you request your steel to be primed (painted), we clean the raw product by shot blasting (abrasive cleaning) the steel to Australian Standards.
We remove all mill scale and rust from the section prior to painting. This ensures the finished product will not crack or flake, and offers an excellent pre-primed finish ready for installation or top coat.
Stringers: Brisbane Posts & Beams fabricate our steel stair stringers to a standard we are proud of. If quality is what you require, look no further. Our stringers are made from all pre-gal material, SUPAGAL rails with pre-gal brackets and end plates.
From 2 tread to 11 tread we use 3mm thick rails, and from 12 to 17 treads we increase the thickness of the material to 4mm. We believe this amounts to a superior quality, stronger, longer lasting product.
Our stair stringers are manufactured using standard 'rise' and 'going' measurements.
