Did you know that water is the cause for more than 90% of all breakdowns in Resurfaced baths?
While only 10% is caused by bad workmanship or misuse?
The reason is that other bath-resurfacing products are only water resistant
Allowing water to penetrate right through the primer or base coat lifting bubbling and eventually peeling the new surface.
Initially we used to think that poor adhesion was the reason for the peeling but tests have proven that even with improved adhesion water is able to penetrate through even the best primers and begin the delaminating process known as osmosis.
Some Resurfacing companies have claimed that their product had been boiled battered and bent without ill effect and have therefore concluded that their product will last, under normal circumstances in a bathtub.
But after further investigation we discovered that these tests have not been performed on enamel or porcelain surfaces. (After all how can you bend enamel?) In the mean time the poor applicator (your local resurfacing trades’ man) suffered the brunt of the complaints and the customer was never satisfied.
Now after much more testing and experimenting we have solved the age-old problem.

is fully water proof even on a porcelain or enamel surface. Our Glass-Line coating is very hard chip resistant and full of lustre it is the ideal finish.
What does that mean?
It means that even in extreme conditions where the water pools in the bath or when a constantly dripping tap has not been attended to, the new surface will not peel or blister. Although some discolouration may result from the residue in the water which is also normal on a enamel surface. In a nutshell it means that this coating will out last any other resurfacing coating by a long shot. The only real solution for that rental property or busy bathroom where dry time is a problem.

We started out with a franchise in 1986 but we were greatly disappointed with the products and the restrictions placed upon us, we were not allowed to run our own testing on the materials but were expected to trust all that they claimed about there so called “synthetic porcelain”. They claimed that it had been boiled for 1000 hours without defect and yet when we ran our tests it began to blister after 2 weeks in cold water. It was then that we realised that we were better of as an independent Resurfacing company. Now we are able to upgrade our products at any time always staying ahead of the competition.
