Plastering
The art of dry wall plastering consists of many applications by mixing cement compounds we are able to apply a creamy and smooth layer of plaster cement which acts as a bonding material. It can be used for decorative features such as archways, bulkheads, decorative ceiling panels and ceiling centres (ornate ceilings).
We also use plaster for patch work, filling holes and cracks and then once the compound has dried we are able to sand to a smooth finish
Cornices
Cornices first became popular in late 19th Century Victorian England and were large and ornate. During the early 20th Century Federation and Art Nouveau styles featured flowers, leaves and medallions; or in Australia, gum nuts, birds and animals. Art Deco style cornices of the 1930s and 40s were stepped, with geometric patterns. Up until the 70s simple, curved cornices were the trend. However today, decorative cornices are the popular choice with homeowners, architects and interior designers.
We can supply and fix, as well as repair and do alterations to all types of plaster and ornate cornices.
Suspended Ceilings
There are a variety of suspended ceilings for different purposes, such as Grid, Set and Acoustic Ceilings. We install tiles such as acoustic, mineral fibre, plaster board, metal pan and glasswool.
Grid Ceilings
Exposed grid systems are a simple, quick and cost effective way of installing a ceiling to your office, factory or shop. These systems allow easy access to the ceiling space for associated trade work such as electrical and air conditioning which will ensure you get the best price for your overall fit out.
Set Ceilings
Using a suspended steel frame work we are able to fix plaster board sheets to the underside of the frame and by setting all the exposed joins, sanding and finally painting. This method gives the impression of a solid ceiling, however if access into the ceiling is required for other trades or services we are able to install an access panel or man hole.
Acoustic Ceilings
Specially designed plasterboard for noise suppression, acoustic panels suit all situations offering a smooth finish that’s easy to clean and maintain.
Fire Rated
Generally fire rated plasterboard is used in wall and ceiling systems where fire resistance is to be achieved and is useful where improved acoustic performance is required.
Partitions
Partition walls are a great way to modernise and redesign your office or perhaps add that extra room in your home that you always wanted. We have the ability to move your walls, doors and windows where and when you want with our plasterboard solutions.
From Right Angle Walls to Curved, Nipped, Half Walls and Splayed Walls we have the experience and expertise to complete the job.
Demolition
We specialise in minor interior demolition for Residential and Commercial sites such as Asbestos Removal and disposal, Stripouts, Wall and Ceiling relocations.
