Garde Timber is a boutique Australian Owned Timber merchant based in Brisbane specialising in Native Hardwood Slabs and feature timbers built on over 20 years Industry experience. Our specialty Timbers are sourced from either rural / urban landclearing or from sustainably managed native forests.
Large Hardwood logs destined for burning, landfill or woodchip are salvaged to create the magnificent stock of rare timbers we have on offer. Our teams of mobile sawmilling contractors utilise practically all of the log to produce bark to bark slabs ,boards and large feature posts. We cater to all domestic, residential and commercial applications - construction, cabinetmaking, kitchen/furniture makers, shopfitters and architectural specifiers who are looking for a truly inspiring timber product.
Slab Dressing
We can take the hard work out of finishing your timber project. Timber Slab can be levelled and sanded up to 3.8m long by 1.5 m width. Fine sanding ready for your coating also available on request. A cutting service is also available for edge ripping and docking to length.
Slab Surface Filling
The beauty of Timber Slabs is the natural feature. They may contain bug holes, gum pockets or knot holes. We can fill these with epoxy resin either clear or coloured to suit for a smooth natural finish. Natural Edges can be prepared by sanding and shaping.

We can deliver your timber product anywhere in Australia whether it be one piece or a semi-trailer load. Contact us for a quote.
