About Us
OMara Constructions is a family building company established in 1964. We build all over the Sydney metro area, all of the Blue Mountains and the Central Coast
Our Company constructs all types of building projects including new homes (from simple country homes to luxury mansions) extensions / renovations, duplex's, townhouses, factories, shops and community buildings.
Our business is based on our reputation for a high quality finished product, with close communication with our clients a priority.
O'Mara Constructions P/L are contract builders, not project home builders. That means we are more flexible with inclusions. We can use materials from any supplier at all with no restructions. We allow owners to supply materials directly (eg bathroom tiles & fittings) or complete non-structural work (eg painting). We are happy to employ owner nominated sub-contractors.
Our carpenters are full-time staff and range from apprentices to tradesman of more than 40 years experience.
Other trades are all local sub-contractors, many being family or close friends.
We have a new updated website that has lots of pictures of our past projects as well as a host of other information.

Building Disputes Referee attached to the Department of Consumer Affairs for the west of Sydney.
900 Hearings conducted 1991 - 1995.
Director of NATSPEC. (The National Building Specifications).
Senior MBA Accredited Building Consultant, with over 40 years building experience.
Building Industry representative on SAA committees.
