- Warranty – Besteel Frames are manufactured using Truecore™ steel, which is backed by a 50 year* warranty. (Warranty available on application. For full terms and conditions and to determine eligibility of your building see www.truecore.com.au or call BlueScope Steel)
- Manufacture – Computer managed roll forming technology is used to produce frames up to C3/W60 Cyclonic wind rating, made from .95mm thick coil of Truecore™ Bluescope Steel. Each component is rolled into 78x30mm channel sections for all verticle and horizontal members with a 75x30mm channel section for studs.
Frames are assembled using hand held pneumatic riveting machines which install high shear strength rivets making it cheaper to produce than the more labour intensive welded alternative. All bracing is fitted in the factory at time of assembly. No additional bracing or cyclone rods are required on steel frames due to their inherent strength.
As a one stop supplier, we provide the essential material to erect frames, trusses and light weight structural steel sections such as stumps, columns, beams and a variety of flooring systems including and open-webbed floor joist.
- Erection – The erection of frames, trusses and steel flooring on-site is fast, due to the trueness of the frames and detailed instructions are provided. Studs and plates have pre-punched holes for easy cable and pipe installation. All frames come with nylon grommets to prevent noise from water pipes. As the frames are fabricated out of lightweight high tensile steel they can be easily nailed or screwed. Fit out and finishing is as quick as with timber framing.
- Transportation – There is versatility in transportation methods that can be used as the frames can be assembled at the factory or elsewhere. For northern NSW and southern QLD the frames are usually pre-assembled at the factory before delivery to the building site for final erection. For other areas in Australia and overseas, the component parts of the frame can be “flat packed” for more economic transportation.
