How do I get the best out of my system?
Make sure you get professional advice from a licensed installer before selecting the type, size and location of your split system.
Be aware. The installer must be licensed and must adhere to the manufacturer’s specifications and industry guidelines regarding the service and installation of split systems. If they fail to meet these standards your investment may be compromised.
We recommend that servicing your unit according to manufacturer’s recommendations will extend the life and efficiency of your investment.
The Refrigerants
R410a is the latest advance in refrigerants and provides excellent stability, low toxicity and non-combustibility.
R22 is a long running, industry standard refrigerant.
Inverter verses Conventional Type Systems
The inverter wall mounted splits share many features with the Conventional systems. Inverter types are generally quieter and more economical to run. They may cost more at point of sale, however in the long run can equate to significant savings on running costs.
The inverter component of the system allows the outdoor unit to vary its speed allowing minimal fluctuations in temperature.
There is a diverse choice of Brands and Models on the market today. We will be happy to install and commission your air conditioning purchase or simply offer you our friendly advice.

Which unit should we buy?
It is important to understand that there are many variables to consider when sizing up your system. Ceiling height, insulation, direction of the sun, window size and room size all have a bearing on the kW per square metre you must allow for the area you wish to condition.
Energy Efficiency
All split systems have an energy input and energy output specification. In simple terms this means that the heat created by the refrigerant can produce around three times more power than what they unit will draw from your power supply if the EER or COP is 3.00
This is also known as the EER or Energy Efficiency Ratio (cooling) and the COP or Co-efficiency of Performance (heating)
Note: If you divide the output capacity with the input capacity you will get a ratio.
Therefore this is by far the best way to recognise a unit’s energy efficiency.
