Welcome to Logan City Joinery
Logan City Joinery (LCJ) is a highly successful specialist timber joinery business, located at Crestmead, between Brisbane and the Gold-Coast in Queensland, Australia. We are well regarded in the industry with a very high quality, build-to-order product offer centred on solid timber door and window variants for new buildings and renovations, commercial, corporate, retail and residential applications. We also specialise in Architectural Joinery, particularly designer entryways for customers wanting a unique and individual entryway to enhance and add value to any home or office building.
We own our main factory and office building, enhancing a strong tenure in a specialist Industrial estate. There has been a process of updating/renewal and further enhancement of computer-controlled manufacturing equipment over the past five years to further improve our competitive footing from both a quality perspective, and capacity/turnaround.
Traditional Quality
At LCJ we construct our solid timber doors using traditional high strength and durability mortice and tenon joints, cut and moulded to precision accuracy using modern computer-controlled equipment, supervised by experienced craftsmen.
Wide Range of Timbers
We create doors and other joinery using a wide range of Australian and Imported Timbers. Timber Joinery Species we use include Surian Red Cedar, Silky Oak, New Guinea Rosewood, Amoora, Hoop Pine, Tasmanian Oak* and quality paint-finish hardwoods. Timber Cabinet Species we use include the above species and additionally a range of more expensive timber species including Tasmanian Blackwood, Tasmanian Myrtle, American White Oak, Jarrah, Oregon and others.
*(Tasmanian Oak is a collective name for timber of the species Eucalyptus delegatensis, Eucalyptus regnans and Eucalyptus obliqua)
Timber Species Colour & Textures Samples
As a natural product, one of the features of timber is the natural variation in colour and grain/texture within and between species and often within the same milled tree.
