PONDS:
Construction::
Ponds can be constructed of concrete, bricks, blocks and liner ponds. However we recommend fibreglass ponds.
Concrete ponds using bricks and blocks are appropriate in most cases; however they must be sealed adequately. Fibreglass sealing is recommended.
Prefabricated:
Our Fibreglass Ponds come in standard sizes and are strengthened to be either fully submersed in the ground or free standing without bowing or buckling from pressure. The Ponds are Black in colour and with algae growth the colour will be dark green.
Small Pond:
2.2M L x 1.2M W x 600mm H
1500 Litres
Medium Pond:
2.4M L x 2.2M W x 900mm H
4500 Litres
Large Pond:
4M L x 2.4M W x 900 H
8500 Litres

Pond Repair:
Ponds are repairable in most cases. We have a team of specialists in repairing leaking ponds. We aim to give you low maintenance, lasting enjoyment of your fish pond.
Some problems that occur in ponds are:- Inadequate filtration systems

About Us
AKF is an Australian-owned and managed farm which Hans Boehner has built, through his love and appreciation of Koi from a hobby over 20 years. Hans and Dell Boehner head this family-run business.
We at the AKF breed pure Japanese Koi and are committed to improving, conserving and protecting Nishikigoi (Koi). This can be seen through our production in excess of 4 million spawned per year which makes us the largest Koi breeder and dealer in the Southern Hemisphere.
Our Koi are line bred to ensure quality of all basic classifications. With lines that are young, fresh and disease-free we are now able to match it with the best the World has to offer.
Hans' background as a builder for 25 years enables him to utilise his skills to advise, plan and construct ponds.
Hans' expertise in Koi keeping and handling has involved us in the design and manufacture of our own unique, low maintenance, bio filtration system.
AKF is a leading tourist Attraction in the Western Sydney basin. We are open 7 days per week between 9am and 5pm. We have Show Champions to gaze at and in excess of 25 000 fish on display and for sale. We provide facilities for day trips and organised tours. (Bookings essential).
