Dalsouple Australasia P/L
Environmentally friendly, sustainable, resilient natural rubber floor covering.
SERVICES Dalsouple rubber flooring launches its ‘Transform the Future’ 2009 Design Competition ‘Transform the Future 3’ is a competition for students and designers sponsored by Dalsouple Rubber Flooring in partnership with UK Sustain Magazine.
International entries are welcome.
‘Transform the Future’ encourages designers and students to go out into the community and spread the word that in design, ‘sustainable’ doesn’t mean ‘boring’.
Category 1: Interior
Students or professionals will need to establish a link with a local community group. That could be a school, college, a youth centre, or community hall. The entrants and clients together will identify an interior project and develop a realistic design solution, based on the clients’ needs.
Of course, the design should incorporate Dalsouple Natural Rubber as a flooring material, because this will form part of the prize.
Category 2: Product
This new category invites students or professionals from the product design community to submit concepts for products or actual products that incorporate DalNaturel natural rubber in some way.
The whole item may be made of rubber or just a tiny amount may be used within the design.
Prizes
Overall Winner – prize of 2000 Euros

Dalsouple is premium flooring suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. Some textures have been tested by CETEC laboratories in Melbourne to have between R9 and R10 slip ratings. Rubber flooring is warm, durable, dust-free, easy to clean. Dalsouple rubber flooring can also be for walling. We go down to 1.5mm thickness for walls. It has low VOC, well below the Australian standards. Rubber is 3 times more efficient to produce than vinyl and 17 times more efficient than linoleum.
Most colour samples available in Australia. Just download the rubber ducky brochure and choose some colours and we can post them to you to arrive within a couple of days.
