About Us
The Owners Rick & Penny Welch started their blind career with Bayliss Blinds who had the Australian agency for the Silent Gliss range of products.
They were with this company for 10 years which gave them a great grounding in all departments of the blind trade. They then moved to Helioscreen to start up the manufacturing part of the company. Over a period of 10 years they did the manufacturing & installing. After many years in the trade they decided to shift to the far south coast & go into semi retirement. This lasted for 4 years when suddenly they were offered the opportunity to sell & manufacture blinds & awnings again. Recently they shifted into a larger building combining the sales, manufacturing & installation departments, allowing them to be under one roof.
Since then they have expanded again taking on wholesaling & a number of new agencies. Over the last 3 years the staff have grown from 2 to 8.
Andy is Our showroom manager & customer consultant.
Carly is our office manager & also helps ion the showroom when needed.
Mark is in charge of our installation department.
Chris is our seamstress & main production person. She has a solid grounding in the blind industry & can turn her hand to anything.

Manufacturing
We now manufacture our own Roller blinds, Roman blinds and Panel Glide Systems. We are also now manufacturing Flyscreens (we have a very tough extrusion for flyscreens now, which will not bend and are extremely durable). Security doors and Colonial Casting style Security doors, CLEARSHIELD Stainless Steel Doors and Screens, plus Vollay Aluminium Shutters, Zip track and Awnings

Installing
Steve is in charge of our installation department. He is a local boy with loads of in house on the job training.
Mark has had extensive training in the blind industry He is involved with manufacturing & assists Steve with installations. |
