CUSTOM DESIGNED PRODUCTS
We make a wide range of custom designed products, including balustrades, gates, screen doors, arches, garden obelisks, sculpture, furniture, and forged hardware.
We produce functional metalwork with a strong emphasis on practicality and design. Every job is an original which is created specially to suit its context and to fit the image the client envisages.
DESIGNS
Our designs vary from traditional European style wrought iron and blacksmithing, to very modern designs suitable for any architect designed houses. Very often, we use as an inspiration Australian native flora and fauna motifs. As artists, we always develop our own designs.
Our customized design process means that we can incorporate any personalized details clients may require, such as heraldic designs, property names or special themes.
MANUFACTURE
We design and manufacture in our own workshop, which gives us control of the whole artistic process, and ensures that the original intention is not ‘lost in translation’. It also means that the designs and concepts we produce for clients are practical and achievable. We have the skills and equipment to carry out major works. We can carry out installation if required.
MATERIALS
We are experienced in different media, including wood, stone, concrete and metal. Our metal work for external areas is usually hot dip galvanized steel which gives it rust protection. Colour is applied over the galvanizing if desired, in the form of industrial oven baked powder coating. Other surface treatments can be arranged if required.
We are also experienced in liaising with other trades-people, councils and architects. Our client base includes major developers and builders as well as landscape architects and individual customers.
