Welcome to Dale Builders
I'm a second generation builder that has been working in the industry for 38 yrs. I'm a carpenter-joiner with a post trade Clerk of Works certificate and I've worked in every facet of the building industry, industrial, commercial, domestic and joinery. I've been running my own business for 28 yrs and have trained 5 apprentice, 1 being apprentice of the year. My business is mainly quality extensions and renovations with new homes and commercial jobs slowly increasing in number.
I'm a hands on builder and I supervise all work carried out by my employees and sub-contractors. I do some design but not as much as I use to due to time restrictions' leaving it to an architectural draftsman that I work closely with. I also have a architect that we use if the client wants that level of design.
I take the responsibility of working in peoples back yards and houses very seriously and do background checks on employees' My philosophy is do it once and do it right it's the cheapest way and I try to put in my staffs head that when we build we are building a monument to ourselves and we only want good ones.
