Welcome to Sillis Plumbing
A locally owned and operated family business established in 2003. My name is Wayne Sillis, owner and plumber. I answer the phone, and I do the work.
I am a member of both the Master Plumber's Association and the Housing Industry Association, and am a licensed plumber within the ACT (no. 199815846) and NSW (no. 150406C).
I started out with a local company as a work experience student, then went on to become an apprentice plumber, and am now a fully licensed tradesman. I have taken on an apprentice this year, to pass on my skills and knowledge to the next generation.
I maintain continuing professional development in attending industry seminars and workshops, and by participating in regular refresher courses. I also take part in other training from time to time to keep up with frequent changes and regulations within the plumbing industry, so you can always be sure that Sillis Plumbing uses the latest techniques and processes.
Sillis Plumbing plumbers wear a uniform consisting of shirts, jumpers and hats. We are easily recognisable.
