The Carpet Doctor cleans, restores, repairs, and restretches carpets.
SERVICES The Carpet Doctor Difference
The Carpet Doctor uses an industrial-quality cleaner to vacuum your carpets before we begin steam cleaning. This step removes three quarters of the trapped dirt, and steam cleaning removes the rest.
We steam clean your carpets right down to the backing—and then blow dry them for your comfort and convenience. There are other ways to clean carpets.
We attend to spots and stains; we can re-stretch, re-lay or repair your carpets, and renew the joins if required. You can even have your carpets dyed for a new look!
Our operator is accredited and certified by the IICR, and we have full public and personal liability insurance. We are open 7 days a week and give free, no-obligation quotes before we start the job.
Absorbent Powder Method—dampened powder is agitated into the carpet and then vacuumed out; usually by the home owner between treatments.
Rotary Shampoo Method—shampoo prespray and fresh cold water rinse.
Bonnet Cleaning Method—brushes are covered by a cloth bonnet.
Dry Foam Shampoo—pre-sprayed and shampooed with a cold water vacuum rinse.
Mist and Brush Method—an emulsifier is agitated into the top of the carpet face fibres by rotary brushes. It is allowed to dry and is then vacuumed.
Hot water extraction—the carpet is pre-sprayed and then hot water-rinsed. Several further dry passes are made with the wand to suck up any free water.
