    The wetland at Adelaide Brighton Cement's Birkenhead site is a working example of how industry and the environment can work together. The unique habitat created using local plant species supports a great abundance of wildlife including five different local frog species.     North Haven Schools

    A frog pond constructed from recycled materials and planted with local provenance plants was createdd in an area where students could have outdoor studies all year round. Stocked with local tadpole species, croaking frogs can now be heard. Teaching resources supporting a variety of leaning opportunities were also provided
