Cleaning
Whether it's regular office cleaning, carpet cleaning, construction cleaning, window washing, polishing, strip and sealing or whatever cleaning service you may need, we have trained staff available all year round.
Our satisfied clients have included a range of commercial offices, warehouses, schools, factories, homes, shops, showrooms and sports centres. We have catered for clients needing different services from a weekly sweeping to specialist hygienic cleaning many times a day.
Clients are able to choose not only the type of cleaning done, but how it is done. Options in steam and dry carpet cleaning, chemicals we use, paper products we buy and deodorisers we provide are just some of the choices available.
All our cleaning, described and decided at the beginning of each contract, is assured for quality by regular inspections by on-site and area supervisors. Should you wish to change the specifications of the cleaning or speak to the management mid-contract, this is never a problem.
Security
We pride ourselves on having punctual, reliable and trust-worthy staff. If you deem it necessary, employees will undergo a police check as well as provide previous professional and character references. We understand that as well as providing a discreet and efficient service, through our staff, we are often responsible for the locking and security of your premises.
All staff are trained in the operating procedures of your alarm system. Any codes and other confidential information issued to us is treated in the utmost confidence with only the management and the supervising cleaner on duty having access to this information. In addition staff are required to wear our distinctive Yarra Cleaning Services uniform and display identification if need be.
Supervision and client communication
The quality of our service and your satisfaction is the most important indicator of our work and to ensure that you receive the most shining service and radiant results, we have a comprehensive system of job supervision.
If more than one cleaner is located at your premises, a supervising cleaner or full-time supervisor is employed to make sure that your premises always looks its best and that all security and cleaning procedures have been completed every time. If you only have one cleaner at your premises, weekly inspections are carried out by an identified area supervisor or one can be requested on demand should you require additional service. In addition, an identified area manager will conduct regular inspections.
For each job, our staff are given detailed work schedules and specifications to ensure that no facet of their regular operations are skipped. All staff are also required to complete job reports to their immediate supervisor, these reports are available to you.
Should there be any cause for emergency, our operations manager is available 24 hours a day. An emergency contact number is given to all new clients.
Communications Book
For minor details, you can request for us to provide a "Communications Book" to serve as a reference guide for our often after-hours cleaning staff to check on whether you have any day-to-day comments or requests.
If, for example, there should be a spill in an obscure place, by entering details of this in our Communications Book, staff will be able to act upon this as soon as they visit your premises. Staff are also required to sign in and out of your premises in the Communications Book each time they visit so that you can have a record of when our staff were present should there be any security problems or so that you can check on our commitment to delivering you regular quality service.

Our company
Hillploy Pty Ltd has been trading as Yarra Cleaning Services since March 1994. A privately owned family company, the original directors are actively involved in the daily management of the business. Now servicing the entire Melbourne metropolitan area, Yarra Cleaning Services has earned a reputation for friendliness, responsiveness, quality and reliability.
We have serviced a range of clients, from schools, commercial offices and houses to factories, warehouses, showrooms and shop floors. We have also had experience in cleaning for construction sites, domestic properties, sports centres and clients who require hospital standard cleaning.
Our staff
We pride ourselves on only employing attentive, punctual, reliable and skilled staff. All cleaning staff have been trained in Certificate III of Cleaning Operations (TAFE) and all have had previous industry experience.
Staff are chosen on professional and character references and for clients who request it, we can perform a police check. Staff are uniformed and are required to carry identification.
Staff training
In addition to Certificate III of Cleaning Operations, new staff to a job or the company are immediately supervised at the beginning. Our team of supervisors and experienced cleaners help train staff in the following areas:

Standard policies used by the cleaning industry are respected at Yarra Cleaning Services. Our stringent Occupations Health and Safety Policy (OH&S) is observed by all staff and in addition, we provide clients with a peace-of-mind by using only safe and quality equipment, more of which can be read about in our section on Equipment.
Our Environmental Policy
Commercial cleaning is an industry that can have detrimental effects on Australia's environment and in order to make sure that we have as minimum impact as possible, Yarra Cleaning Services have established an Environmental Policy which states that:
A minimum of cleaning chemicals are used
We only use environmental friendly chemicals sourced from reputable suppliers
We encourage clients to recycle rubbish and help them to dispose of this appropriately
Bags are tightly tied to ensure that rubbish does not go anywhere
We recycle as much of our waste as possible
We always dispose of chemicals and cleaning residue thoughtfully and never down a stormwater drain
