About Us
This past year has been a busy one for us at S J Hodson Painting & Decorating after tendering and winning numerous projects in Perth’s booming construction and heritage refurbs market. Not to mention our projects in Sydney where it all started 22 years ago whether they be large or small. Our Sydney head quarters is the engine room for the company and from there we delegate and direct all our services nationally to keep our clients and associates happy on all levels.
We believe we have an obligation to recognise and respond in meaningful, practical ways to our chosen profession and our client’s needs. We understand that sometimes the household budget and dreams to renovate and brighten up their well earned property or investment is sometimes just out of the question. This is all due to financial pressures which come with today’s increases of Interest rates, petrol prices and everyday living expenses.
We here at S J Hodson Painting & Decorating work closely with our clients to overcome the sometimes huge expense of repainting your property and professionally suggest and consult the client for an outcome that can be beneficial. To be at the top of our industry for the past 22 years would certainly suggest that we are doing the right thing by our clients and business associates.

As a Member of the Master Painters Association of Australia the Management of this firm subscribes to the following Code of Fair Business Practice, the guiding principles and objectives of which are:-- Fair and equitable dealings with clients and other industry participants at all times;
- Compliance, not only with the law, but with the minimum industry standards of conduct prescribed in this Code;
- Accountability for any transgressions of this Code;
- Promotion of an efficient competitive and ethical building and construction industry;
- Providing the client with the confidence that using an MPA member is a better way of building; and
- Provision of the framework to continue industry reform and in particular changing the adversarial nature of commercial dealings to that of the partnering concept of utmost good faith and fairness in all such dealings.
We commit ourselves- To act at all times with honesty, integrity and responsibility and in the spirit of good faith and fair dealing;
- To engage in no conduct which is unfair, harsh or unconscionable;
