RANBUILD® had it’s beginnings as the R & N Building Company Pty Limited that started manufacturing steel buildings in Newcastle, NSW in 1949. Since then, RANBUILD® have successfully completed over 200, 000 major projects both in Australia and overseas.
Included in the RANBUILD® product range are two specific building solutions - the SUNDOWN and COVERMASTER series which are marketed day to day in the Agricultural, Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Each building type is designed for maximum efficiency and accessibility for its use and application. RANBUILD® buildings are a proven, effective and inexpensive way of achieving any structural appearance or function. They are ideally suited to commercial, industrial, agricultural, retail, manufacturing, storage and handling, office and administration, machinery protection, workshop, exhibition, indoor sports; an unlimited range of applications.
RANBUILD® is a leader in the design and manufacture of cold-formed galvanised steel buildings. Only the latest techniques and materials are used to produce state of the art structures. Every detail of every component is computer designed by RANBUILD®; even assembly drawings are produced on one of Ranbuild’s CAD computer systems.

BUILDING DETAILS AND DESIGN
RANBUILD® manufactures and supplies standard building designs within the following parameters
1. All RANBUILD® buildings are all manufactured from genuine BlueScope Lysaght cold rolled pregalvanised, hi-tensile steel sections for long life and low maintenance.
2. RANBUILD® buildings are engineered to comply with all relevant Standards Association of Australian codes. Wind loads are in accordance with SAA loading AS1170-2.
3. RANBUILD® buildings are available in several different types to suit various customer needs. The Sundown series feature two garage models for fast, low cost assembly of small to medium size buildings. The Covermaster series features a fully bolted system for added strength and rigidity in medium to large size buildings.
4. RANBUILD® garage buildings come in several roof pitches including 10, 15 and 27.5 degrees. The Covermaster range includes a basic 10 degree and optional 26 degree heritage gable roof. The monoslope and duplex multispan buildings have a nominal 5 degrees roof pitch.
5. RANBUILD® buildings are designed for fully or partly enclosing with vertically attached, preformed metal cladding. There are also models that may also be enclosed with concrete or clay bricks, blocks or panels.
6. RANBUILD® buildings are modular with spans and eaves heights to suit popular steel cladding sheet sizes. Building lengths are infinitely variable by adjusting intermediate portal frame locations to suit cladding module sizes.
7. RANBUILD® buildings are all designed with main frame columns connected to footings with base plates. This allows many footing options including concrete piers or slabs, metal beams or screw in anchors so that RANBUILD® buildings may be installed in permafrost, sand, clay or rock without modification.
8. RANBUILD® engineers are available to develop new designs for other locations, building codes or specific requirements.
