Julian from Mullaloo posted:
Installation of two domestic water tanks to capture overflow from spouting that is running off into a double carport and a back garden. There is space at the end of the carport for a rectangular tank to be placed. In our back garden the water pours out onto the lawn, but people have told us we should capture the water if possible. In the back garden a pipe would be needed to run along from the end of the spouting along the edge of a pergola to a tank that would probably sit in the garden. I am sorry, but I am a hopeless handyman so can not estimate the size of the tanks that are needed, but a slimline rectangular one would be needed in the garage. I am hopeful that the tank in the garage would be able to be placed on the floor of the carport. The one in the back may need a base. Thank you

Pam from East Victoria Park posted:
Slimline tank to be acquired and fitted with the aim to be then be plumbed in for use to the rear laundry, toilet and bathroom. In summary, purchase a slimline water tank that will meet our needs, site the tank and then plumbing for connection for household use. Potable not essential but if within price range we will consider.
Janet from North Fremantle posted:
I have three small water tanks which receive water from the roof. They are not plumbed for any usage and I have only used them to fill the pool in the summer. Every winter they overflow onto decking and I am currently trying to use the water, via hoses, on the garden to prevent the constant over-flow. One tank tap appears to be blocked, though the tank is full, and continues to overflow, no water comes out when the tap is turned on. I need advice on how best to manage the tanks, what is needed to stop the overflow and how best the water could be used.
