Louise from Briar Hill was connected."Have started pulling up some brick path- wanted to reuse these to create a sandpit for the kids. have small yard and since the patio roof covers some of the ground it has become rock hard and no plants will flourish there wanted to mulch that area and plant out some native shrubs/grasses. would love to remove weedy looking shrubby trees and create a space that is kid friendly. hope this gives the reader a picture."
Maggie from Greensborough was connected."Garden is bush on steep block with terraced retaining walls. existing steps are rough blue stone, all different heights and depths, very difficult to use, particularly for old lady. steps need to be removed, graded and replaced with proper timber treads and risers at correct height for ease of walking and gradient of rise. hand rail to be incorporated as well. lowest terrace needs to be remade, removing concrete breeze block retaining wall and replaced with drainage holes and stone facing. soil needs to be improved with addition of garden loam and compost mix. other steps also need attention on other side of garden. also, steps next to steep driveway at front need to be renewed with increased width by excavating rock face next to proposed new steps. these particular steps have the main water supply pipes next to/beneath. this galvanised water pipes need to be renewed/replaced. water access at bottom of garden at the time of replacing the old, leaking gal pipes .all garden beds/terraces need to have soil improved and uniformity of retaining structures. you need to see this job before you can quote as it's quite involved and needs to work in conjunction with plumber as well. wish i could send you photos so you can get the general idea of what i'm on about."
