More stable soils can be used for shallow foundations such as slabs as they will not move, while looser soils will require pile foundations that are sunk deeper in order to be stable enough for construction.

Ensure that you only have qualified and experienced professionals working on your foundation due to the danger of severe damage to the building or even its occupants if the foundations are not done correctly.
