This is why it is recommended that you keep larger off cuts from carpet installation, so that they can be used for repairs where required. If your carpets have stretched, the professional will restretch the carpet so that it is lying nice and flat once more. For bleached areas, spot dyeing may bring the carpet back to its original colour.
