The overlocking creates a neat seam or edge around the off cut which looks attractive and stops the carpet from fraying or unravelling.
The carpet overlocker will match the yarn they use for the overlocking as closely as possible to the actual colour of the carpet. Usually, your mats will be ready in a few days at most. Your new mats can be used to protect your new carpet or as a beautiful colour coordinated rug.
