energy use,
energy production,
active/passive systems
water capture,

embodied energy
reduction of pollution
human well being
Environmental Design
There is a growing awareness in the world of the necessity to address such issues as sustainability, conservation of the natural environment and the reduction of greenhouse gases. The U.S.A. consumes something in the order of 25% of the world’s resources and contributes a similar proportion of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Per capita Australia’s record is not much better. So it goes for the rest of the developed world.

Architects services virtually cover the full gamut of works associated with the building process from pre design to post construction and other supplementary and special services. For instance, some architects have skills outside of the normal range of architectural consultancy that further supplement the process. For instance this practice is qualified as a Permaculture design consultant enabling a better understanding of the relationship between the built and natural environments.
