About us

Marisa Mariani-Starr recently launched Starr Interior Design, Interior Design & Colour to follow a passion that has been with her since her youth. She thrives on assisting her clients to realise their creative dreams and aid them in designing and decorating beautiful and functional spaces to their tastes, needs and budget - whether it be for their home, workplace, or to achieve maximum returns when selling their property.

Initially beginning her career as an opera singer and working in the industry for over 20 years, Marisa moved to Bathurst, in Central West NSW, with her family in 1999 and stayed after falling in love with the area. After many exciting years as a freelance performer, singing teacher and local artist, Marisa's love for art, architecture, history and design inspired her to follow her passion for Interior Design and Decorating.

Marisa has exhibited her artwork along side talented colleagues of the Central West NSW Region. She has sold many paintings to private collectors both regionally and interstate and contributes to annual exhibitions with fellow artists.

It is her keen eye for detail, artistic flair and caring nature that allows Marisa to create beautiful and functional environments for her clients.
