Provincial’s Canberra nursery is conveniently located on the main road from the airport to the city of Canberra, adjacent to the nursery district of Pialligo.
Provincial Plants and Landscapes
It is an open site backing onto a creek which is particularly cold in winter (regular minus 3 to minus 8) and is particularly hot and windy in summer – thereby demonstrating the suitability of Provincial’s plants to accommodate climate extremities.

We collect seed annually and propagate species in varied amounts. If species you require are not on our current list, please contact us to discuss propagation and supply, or sourcing, to your requirements.
We have over 250 types of native plants that can be tailored to your specific site and requirements. Whether you’re looking for plants that have low water consumption in warm dry conditions, are frost tolerant, will attract birds, will compete with clay soils, will thrive in moist, swampy soils or will need to withstand a harsh coastal environment, you’ll find what you need at Provincial.

Provincial supplies products in large quantities. The prices of our plants are based on purchase of full trays and minimum numbers. Where trays are broken up and species combined, or individual plants are required, prices increase to cover the cost of handling.
Prices are species and size specific and discounts are available on quantity orders and for regular customers.
