Preferred Design and Drafting is an Accredited Building Design service based in the heritage town of Mudgee in the Central West of New South Wales.

Our business provides an Architectural Design & Documentation service specialising in energy efficient homes and buildings.
We are also HIA GreenSmart Professionals.

With over 20 years experience completing numerous projects both in Mudgee and surounding Central West townships, we offer design & drafting services for new homes - including contemporary & heritage styles; renovations & additions to existing homes, dual occupancy & multi residential developments.
Design & Documentation of commercial & industrial projects are also provided.

We work closely with our clients and listen to their design ideas and requirements.
After formalising an initial design brief, the concept sketch can be presented in a 3 dimensional format utilising our Archicad CAD modelling program.
This provides our clients with a comprehensive view of their proposed design from the initial sketch concept of the project.
Council Plans (or PCA Documents) through to Full Architectural & Tender Documentation can be provided.
As part of our design service, we also liaise with structural engineers and subconsultants to assist and simplify the design process for our clients.
