Peter Johnstone Design is a company that specialises in providing services to both designers and private clients. The business has accumulated experience in a diverse range of projects, producing documentation for himself, and some of Townsville's other leading design and architecture firms.
Peter has been practising design and drafting in Townsville for over 30 years.
Over those 30 years he has worked for private organisations, government instrumentalities and for himself, in both commercial and residential fields.
Peter is a licensed Building Designer and Builder, licensed through the Building Services Authority and also a member of the Building Designer Association Queensland.
Peter has an extensive knowledge of building requirements for North Queensland.
Peter offers a high level of service and will refuse a commission if it feels the level of service or documentation required is below its high standards. The firm does not provide work, and will not perform work, for other companies it feels are offering an inferior product to their client.
A superior end product and client satisfaction are our number one goal.
My Mission
I have a commitment to providing my clients what they want, in a timely and cost effective manner. I like to treat my clients' projects as if they were my own and that I was paying for and using the final product myself. I believe the client should receive the end product they want and not what I or someone else wants. I am not to impose my tastes upon them. I will offer them advice to the best of my knowledge and the benefit of over 30 years’ experience in Townsville and North Queensland.

I design and document projects from small projects such as pergolas, to multi million dollar industrial developments. All documentation is produced using the latest in computer aided design.
I can provide documents and working drawings for all aspects of building both commercial and domestic.
