The story of Merilux group of paint stores began 30 years ago, when Frank Arlotta walked into Merilux to buy some paint and ended up buying the business! Four generations have now been involved with the business, which has grown to incorporate 5 locations, Haberfield, Five Dock, Hurlstone Park, Penrth & Penrith South.

Over the 30 years, Merilux has concentrated on offering something distinct from the corporate stores. Merilux made the decision long ago to invest in its people, by having staff trained as accredited consultants. Having all staff members as trained and accredited colour and paint consultants, benefits our customers.

That is the contrast coming into a Merliux store. The staff care because it's their vocation. They have wealth of experience and are qualified to do the job properly.
