A broad based organisation, the Association services the needs of the entire industry, from residential to commercial and engineering businesses, principal contractors to subcontractors, manufacturers and suppliers.
Services
The Master Builders Association represents the best elements of the industry, by enforcing the highest membership entry criteria and disciplinary procedures, consistent with member expectations.
Over the years we have built upon our commitment to service by increasing the quality and quantity of staff to better assist members’ needs.
Today, the Association boasts resources that exceed anything in its history and well beyond those available from any comparable organisation. Nothing stays the same and our quest for meeting member needs never stops.
Legal
The Legal Department of the Master Builders Association of Victoria provides information and advice to members of the Association on legal and contractual matters relating to the building and construction industry and their business activities in that industry. This over the phone advice is free of charge to members of the Association and is regarded as one of the major benefits of membership.
Our legal team comprises three lawyers who provide legal services to all members, as well as to the Association.
Industrial Relations
The Industrial Relations Department is the go-to place for all IR matters - providing advice and representation in your dealings with unions and Government whether it be EBAs or interpretation of Federal legislation. Four highly qualified and capable field staff are available to meet you at your office or on-site.
All members have access to Master Builders' team of professional Industrial Relations Advisors.
Occupational Health and Safety
The OHS team of three experts can answer any question quickly and accurately to assist members with regulatory compliance. They are also available for free* on-site inspections.

Loans and Finance
Master Builders Financial Services (MBFS) is a trading name used by Chocolate Money which is an accredited Member of PLAN Australia and the MFAA. Chocolate’s Australian Credit Licence # 387277.
Master Builders Financial Services can provide a solution to suit every Members’ needs. Each loan is quoted on a case-by-case basis with the aim of sourcing the best loan for our members - whether through a traditional large bank or a specialty lender. Master Builders Finanical Services has been helping Members with their home loans, business and construction projects for many years.
We suggest all Members get their existing lending structures checked every year by a qualified Lending Consultant. It's a great opportunity to discuss your current and future lending needs with people who understand the building industry.

MBA Insurance Services is a national insurance broker whose core activity is to provide insurance broking and risk management services primarily to the building, construction and property industries.
