Timber Venetians
Max Coombes and Son Pty Ltd offer a Ramin timber venetians, made from timber harvested from sustainable plantations.
They can be used on their own, or in conjunction with shutters, to dress up any room and add a distinctive tone to your home, or office.
They offer flexible light control and excellent airflow. Timber venetians can be oiled, stained, lacquered, limed or custom-painted, and can be made to your specifications, with finishes ranging from matt through to high-gloss.
Roller Blinds
Roller blinds may be the most common and simplest form of sunblind - but there is a good reason for this - they are attractive, effective, economical and simple to operate.
The Holland blind can be operated in a number of different ways, but the direct drive chain-operated friction unit has taken over from the older spring roller as the most reliable and easiest method of operation.
The simplicity of the system lends itself to a vast range of fabric coverings and trim finishes and fabrics may be washable, flame retardent or blackout and can, in many cases be matched to the range of vertical blind materials offered by Max Coombes and Son Pty Ltd.
Multistop by Faber
The Faber Multistop is a roller blind which can be locked precisely in any required position for use in slanted windows and skylights as well as standard windows.
The system can be used for ordinary sunscreening, insect screens and blackout blinds.
The system is recommended for all vertical windows up to a maximum size of 1500 mm x 1500 mm. For slanted windows the maximum width is reduced according to the inclination of the window
Vertical Blinds
Vertical blinds add quality and style to any commercial environment by providing shade or diffused light that can be simply controlled by the tilting of the vertical slats. Two elements are used in the manufacture of Max Coombes and Son Pty Ltd vertical louvre blinds: a rigid headrail, powder coated in white as standard, to guide the louvre carriers.
The carriers are attached to each other in order to bunch the vanes together at whatever point is required either, left or right or split equally. When rotated the vanes overlap to create maximum screening which may be of lesser or greater opacity depending upon the fabric chosen.
Fabrics may be washable, flame retardant or blackout and can in many cases be matched to Max Coombes and Son Pty Ltd range of roller blind materials.
