Matt Williams Architects was established in Hobart in January 2006. We focus on individualised, personal service to our clients by providing a considered and tailored design response to the specific site and client needs. We take pride in the diversity and quality of our past and present projects ranging from residential and institutional through to government and commercial. The size of the practice allows the principal to have close and direct involvement in all projects to ensure a high quality of service and design.

We seek to create spaces and buildings that are inherently environmentally sustainable while remaining open to a diversity of architectural styles.

Our Practice
As standard practice, we base all our designs on passive solar principles. In addition, we advise clients of materials and systems choices to help them to make informed decisions on the environmental impact of their building.
