About Us

Hocking Constructions has been doing domestic and commercial building work since 1985. Apart from specializing in addition and renovation work we also build architecturally designed new homes.

The director, Rob Hocking, a carpenter by trade, has developed a successful business by focusing on attention to detail, quality service and craftsmanship, as well as honesty. Our flexibility allows you the option to provide us with plans, work with your architect or introduce you to a draftsman or architect who will assist you in developing a design to suit your needs. We are able to provide you with support from a number of design and colour experts to assist you with selections for finishes such as cupboards and bench tops, floor coverings, paint colours and lighting.

Our ability to listen and understand what our clients want has enabled us to develop our fine reputation over the years. Many current and past clients have recommended us to numerous others, which we greatly appreciate. We are proud of the fact that our values and standards have enabled us to create a successful business.

Building a relationship with you the client is the most important factor for us. We provide a personalised service to our clients from initial contact through to completion, working with you throughout the project to achieve a quality final result that you will enjoy for many years to come.

We are supported by a strong team of knowledgeable and experienced staff and contractors whose values and standards parallel ours.We have been members of the Housing Industry Association for 25 years.

We use fixed price contracts that are written in plain English, supplied by either the HIA or the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. This allows you to feel at ease whilst we are working on your project, knowing that there will be no hidden terms or costs.
