About us
Govinda Design combines the use of adhesive lead and adhesive film to create individually designed windows. Our windows are stronger than traditional cut glass windows because they are made using one sheet of glass..
I first started making leaded glass windows in 1991, working for my father who owned a double-glazing window company in the West of Ireland. I was the main designer and creator of many leaded windows and doors, including 42 windows for The Lighthouse Hotel in County Donegal.
I returned to Australia and completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Textile Design in 1995 and worked as a Textile Designer for the next 15 years.
In the last two years I have been designing and making leaded windows.
