Robert Tisot is the owner and manager of FixFix. Rob has worked in the building industry for over 25 years and knows the building industry from both sides as a tradesman and as someone who has built and renovated his own home. Rob is a fully qualified and licensed plasterer, and apart from plastering has worked in many facets of the building industry.

Fix Fix offer a comprehensive "Handyman" service covering Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Bonville, Karangi, Woolgoolga and all surrounding areas. For all those little jobs around the place that need attention. Call us for a friendly chat.

Capabilities

Within our internal linings division plasterboard walls and ceilings are an integral part of our business. We use Lafarge Plasterboard but can source the specialist products that are carried by C.S.R. Gyprock or Boral. If you need Villaboard linings for a wet area or perhaps an alfresco area ceiling we can arrange for that and more.

Maybe a theatre room is what you really want. During construction is the best way but we have systems that can be installed in any home. We will take into consideration acoustics and sound proofing to make a large difference in sound transmission.

If it is commercial plastering that need doing we can help you with that too. Sound proofing and fire rating are all part of the services that we offer. Office partitioning is covered by plasterers, so if the business needs a make over we can fix it.

Fix Fix internal linings division can accommodate a wide range of services. Owner builders and builders call us for a quote! Perhaps some rooms need a freshen up, or maybe something really fancy, like beautiful large cornices or perhaps a wall niche. Modernizing with plaster can be quite easy.

Flat Pack Assembly

Have you recently enjoyed some retail therapy? Now you’ve found that the items are heavy and difficult to put together. We can arrange pick up and assembly of all your items.

If you’re moving house you may need to pull all those large items apart for safe transport (or just to get them out the door). We will help!

Been to Bunnings or Ikea and got a kitchen? We will put it together for you, finish it properly and take away all the debris.

Commercial Building Maintenance

Washroom Maintenance

Fix Fix will replace, repair or just refill soap dispensers. Your dispenser needs regular servicing to prolong it's life, the wrong soap can damage the dispenser. Even the right soap can harden and block or degrade the valve. We can replace the units or upgrade existing units to more efficient ones.

Cracked or loose toilet seats can be replaced.

Make safe vandalized items. Cracked toilet seats replaced or loose toilet seats repaired. Toilet roll holders can be re-attached to walls or replaced if need be.

Air freshener dispensers can be installed to remove cigarette smoke smells and undesirable odors.

Suspended Ceiling Revamp

Dirty and water damaged ceiling tiles replaced. Lift the entire look of the office by replacing all the ceiling tiles. Whether it's one or one thousand. To reduce the power usage the entire ceiling can be insulated with minimal disruption to the office, using a non allergenic product. Save $$$ on your power bill.

Programmed Maintenance

A dollar spent now can save hundreds in the years to come. Fix Fix offer a Scheduled Regular Maintenance to keep on top of all those little issues that build up before they become a big (that means expensive) problem. Gutters are a prime example, gutters full of leaves rust and need to be replaced, regularly cleaning the gutters will save thousands of dollars not too far down the track. Light fixtures in toilet broken, tiles cracked and falling off, constantly dripping taps, doors that don't close properly, door closers that don't work, locks that don't lock, frayed carpets that cause a tripping hazard, blinking fluorescent lights, every work area has issues that go "unnoticed" since everyone assumes that someone else will fix it. Fix Fix can be that someone else.

OH&S Issues

Smooth stairs that need non slip edging, carpet that needs re-stretching to avoid tripping, mossy or mouldy paths that present a slip hazard. Many small issues can present a OH&S issue if they go unchecked. Fix Fix can repair issues before they become a Workcover issue.

Emergency Callouts

Has something fallen off, been broken, vandalized or stolen? Trees or branches down in the car park? We can be there in a "jiffy" to replace or repair, the damage. We understand that some jobs "have" to be done straight away, a change room with a broken door, or a door that won't open will cost you sales or production till the problem is resolved.

Removal or Relocation of Equipment

Safe disposal of superseded machinery and equipment. We can dispose of computers after securely erasing hard drives. All superseded, old or just plain "broken" equipment will be safely disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

Items can also be relocated within your place of work, if need be.
