Having worked in the flooring business for over ten years previously, gaining extensive knowledge in floor preparation, the laying of various timbers and the use of many different coatings within the industry and having secured a team of experienced installers and consultants, Wayne & Sue McCarney decided to establish First Choice Flooring Pty Ltd.

Our showrooms are laid out to give clients experience and ideas about the improvements achievable from timber flooring. We believe that clients need to see and appreciate the many different timbers and designs that arc available before making decisions regarding the refurbishments of their homes. The range of products is huge and the layouts arc complemented with quality furnishings and home-ware accessories.
Our Services
Supply Only - We can offer you the supply of Timbers, Underlay, Beading etc on a supply basis with the comfort of a manufacturers guaratee.
Supply and Installation - What we can offer you a complete installation process giving you the comfort of a product and installation guarantee.
Free no-obligation measure and quote - We will come to you to measure and quote and can even bring along timber selections to see if they fit in with your decor.
Advice given on surface preparation requirements - Levelling. Dos your floor drop on one side? Do you have undulating floors? We can recommend a soIution for your sub floor if preparation is required.
Removal and disposal of old floors - We can rip up and remove from the premises old existing flooring of different types. Eg removal of cork, slate, carpets and vinyl.
Sand & Polish - We will sand and polish in the coating of your choice. Coatings are available in Solvent Based, Water Based and Oiled Based.
