Hi Noel,
Just wanted to say thanks very much for the fireplace.
We really liked the way you said you would do it and you actually did do it!
Doesn’t happen very often these days.
The fire is extremely effective and warms the whole house.
No horrible air con or electric blanket needed anymoreJ
All the very best to you,

"When thinking about making a significant purchase, such as a slow combustion fire, I do as much research as possible. My recent research lead me to Noel Mulvaney as someone I could trust, not only with the installation, but also the all important consultation at my home beforehand about which is the most suitable fire for my purposes. Noel didn't only look at the physical aspects of placement of the fire box so I would get maximum heat benefit, he also asked me about my lifestyle needs, such as how furniture would be placed around the fire.
The actual installation of the fire, plinth, and flu was seamless given that it was installed into a 100 year old home with lath and plaster ceilings. Noel ensured all my furniture and floors were well covered prior to starting the job, but what impressed me most was that he then brought in his vacuum cleaner and very carefully cleaned up across the tops of the windows, picture rails and plinth and floor around the newly installed fire. I job I fully expected to do after he left.
From first contact to completion of the job Noel was so well considered about all aspects, that I absolutely recommend him for anything to do with the purchase and installation of any kind of fire". Julia Ryan, Blue Mountains.

October 2008
Since 1998 Noel Mulvaney has installed and renovated fireplaces for me in three very different residences in the Blue Mountains.
The first was installation of a slow combustion heater, next was renovation of an Art Deco open fireplace and a treasured wood stove in the kitchen. The open fire required custom fittings and I was delighted with the result as I was with the cooker.
Recently, Noel installed for me, a modern slow combustion wood fire, and again I am very happy with the result.
Noel always takes great care in the advice given, the quality of the materials and work and is readily available to give follow up advice I can trust.
Mulvaney Fireplaces stands out for integrity and quality.
Thank you Noel, we are lucky to have you working in the Mountains.

July 2005
Noel Mulvaney of ‘Mountain Embers – Fire Installations’ has both installed a fireplace and carried out maintenance and repairs on my slow combustion fire heater.

On these occasions I have found Noel to be knowledgeable, skilled and aware of all current safety and other installation, requirements and regulations. Noel was able to accurately and practically assess my particular job needs with a confident and thoughtful approach. His care and concern for his work was obvious. Safety and good workmanship was a priority and a genuine source of personal pride. I felt immediately secure in his judgment and had faith in his work.

During his work he took care to safeguard against any mess or residue and to minimize any inconvenience. He was always able to give helpful hints and information for the smooth and efficient running of our heater. As a result we have been very happy with the efficiency of our heater and just knowing that our heater was installed correctly has given us much peace of mind for the safety and comfort of our family.

Always reliable and trustworthy, polite and friendly, I have no reservation in recommending the services and advice of Noel Mulvaney.

Yours faithfully
