Smart Water Diverter

Pooltap

If 1mm of rain is equal to 250 litres of water off the average house roof imagine how much goes to waste without a water harvesting or diversion device fitted. You may already have a diverter that tops up and overflows the pool flushing the expensive chemicals out of the pool. This is where the Pooltap™ comes into place. It simply works by placing the Pooltap™ on the side of your pool and attaching a hose from a water diversion device (like our Enovee water diverter) or direct from a tank (not the pump). When it rains (or in heavy dew) the water is diverted from the roof into the gutters and down the downpipe through the diversion device and into the Pooltap™. The water then fills the pool with its simple float and valve system. Once the float is set to the desired height it will automatically close the tap. All the excess water will build up and flow down the diverter overflow (if a single outlet diverter is used). By using a twin outlet diverter you can fill the pool and once the Pooltap™ has shut off, the excess water can be directed to water the lawn or top up a tank with the second outlet.
