Delights Holden Hill
De Lights commenced trading as a small manufacturing and retail business on Anzac Highway in November 1978.
In fact it was one of the very first retailers to operate on the Highway in what is now one of the busiest Homemaker strips in Australia.
Over the years the store on Anzac Highway has grown in size to be one of the largest and most comprehensive showrooms in Australia. To service all areas of Adelaide two other large stores have been opened over the years.
Our large store at 730 North East Road, Holden Hill commenced some 22 years ago to service the Northern suburbs and our third large store at 196 South Road, Morphett Vale has been serving the Southern suburbs for some 16 years.
Our Services
At De Lights, we endeavor to carry the largest range of high quality lights and fans in Adelaide.
However, we are also acutely aware of the fact that the having the largest range is only part of the service. It is for this reason that we ensure we have one of the most experienced and friendly team of staff around.
De Lights can offer you the following services...
House Plans
At De Lights, we plan and supply the lighting for well over 300 houses a year… and that’s for just one of the builders we deal with!! We invite you to bring your house plans in, and we will spend as much time as you need to run through the lighting layout for your new or existing home, and guide you through your various options. In planning so many homes, we have learnt virtually every lighting trick in the book, and you can rest assured that if there’s a creative solution to your lighting problem, we’ll find it!
Loan Kits
Sometimes it can be very hard to visualize how well a light will work in a particular situation. For this reason, we have built up loan kits that involve various types of lighting with a power lead attached. This way, you can take a fitting home, plug it in, and decide for yourself whether it will suit your needs or not. Our ranges of loan kits include; oyster lights, fluoros, spotlights (both 12v halogen and 240v halogen), garden lights, bunker lights, and more.
Home Consults
In most cases, we can get an accurate idea of your needs from your plans, and through asking you questions, however in some instances we can offer a home consultation. We can meet you on location and advise you what lighting will best suit your needs.
Customised Service
Sometimes that perfect fitting just doesn’t exist…. yet. If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, we can often modify or have fittings made up to specifically suit your needs. Its one of the advantages we can offer through carrying as much local product as we do – we can often modify existing products with direct consultation with the manufacturer to suit your needs.
