Quality Enchanced by Precision
Innovative Building products and time savers
DECK-AID SPACERS was developed after years of using traditional spacing methods such as nails, wedges etc but found them to be inaccurate and time consuming so the DECK-AID SPACER was developed over a trial period of two years to where they are today.
Our Company has been in the construction industry for 25 years and have primarily been constructing Timber Decks, Boardwalks, Promenades and Jetties on the east coast of Australia. The problems identified with using nails as spacers in deck construction was that the nails caused a well in the joist which could contribute to water ingress. Also if the nail was on a slight angle this would cause the decking boards to go out of parallel which would have to be rectified by way of wedging to "open up" or "close up" the spacing line, all of which is time consuming.
We have always been dedicated to enhancing the quality of the finished product by innovation. The best being the DECK-AID SPACER.
We worked with an industrial chemist and plastics expert to devise a product that is durable and efficient and will last the rigours of construction.
