Founded in October 2007, the Australian Society for Concrete Pavements (ASCP) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation which aims to facilitate improvements in the design, construction and quality of concrete pavements in Australia through education, technology transfer and research.
Members of the ASCP include consulting engineers, pavement contractors and equipment suppliers, material suppliers, government organisations at all levels, and many others. Members meet regularly at industry Forums where specific, topical issues are discussed and debated. Members also receive an electronic Newsletter and are able to access a vast resource of technical information through this web site.
Sponsors of the ASCP are major contributors to the technical and financial resources of the Society. They receive significant promotional benefits and a specified number of Individual Membership.
Mission and Objectives
The mission of the Society is to facilitate the advancement of knowledge and technology related to concrete pavements through education, technology transfer and research in Australia.
The principal activities of the ASCP are to:- provide regular forums for practitioners to share learning’s and experiences
- assist in development and implementation of the required training packages being provided to the industry
- provide regular and timely communication with members, such as a newsletter and website, and
- provide a mechanism to review
