For driveways, choose dark pavers, lighter borders.
Plant garden beds lower, runoff stains - Otherwise, use an irrigation pipe.
Bushes / plants should not brush against paving.
Pot plants should be kept up off paving.
Remove moss from the bevelled edges of pavers as the build up prevents the natural run-off of water, dirt and leaf material which can cause further staining.
Timber logs on paving in the rain - tannin stains
Similarly, some timber furniture, (unsealed) stains.
Liquid waxed vehicles on driveway leaves stains
To minimise maintenance, prevent stains from paving, reduce the rate of paving fade, inhibit weed growth, keep your paving looking "new" and "fresh"
